The Thompson is a fantastic hotel! Great location and very beautiful interior to include the lobby and common areas. We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were blown away by the custom welcome messages and small refreshments at no charge to us. The customer service & front desk was amazing, warm, and very accommodating. The gym was a world class facility that I absolutely loved. It had everything you could ever need for fitness/keeping up your workout routine. The room was immaculate, we loved the modern feel and had many options for snacks and drinks without leaving our room. This hotel is amazing and the experience you’ll have here will be amazing too!

Such a lovely hotel! From the moment we pulled up, the staff treated us with such kindness. It really set the tone for the stay. The hotel is beautiful! It was Christmas time so everything was decorated so beautifully. There's lots to do within the hotel as well. The interactive game room, coffee house DJ (this was so cool!), and fitness room (best I've ever seen at a hotel!) were highlights. The Diner Bar was also nice. The rooms were clean and modern. The location is great too! We were able to walk or catch a quick Lyft everywhere we wanted to go. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return on our next visit to Austin.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Thomson Austin and it was a great experience. As soon as we walked in the door the staff were friendly and happy to help. The room was really nice and had everything we could need. The pool had a fun vibe on the weekend and was perfect to cool off. Great food and drinks at Wax Myrtle's for dinner. Overall, I'd recommend Thomson Austin to anyone seeking a luxurious stay in the heart of the city.

Best hotel gym I've seen, especially if you lift. About a dozen machines, dumbbells up to 75lbs and an actual squat rack. Hotel is great overall but the gym is extra noteworthy.

We were greeted by Texan with a warm and welcoming smile. He was super helpful and informative. Willie also helped us out prior to confirming our early check in! Both men were great and have amazing customer service! Definitely made us want to come back.
